Who we are
CodeMar Lab is the developer name of Vladimir Volkovskii, an independent developer based in Alicante, Spain. We develop Puzzle Daily Light for Android (package com.dailydelight.jigsawpuzzles). This policy explains how we and the service providers used by the game handle information. It also applies to test versions of the game.
For privacy questions or requests, contact support@codemarlab.com.
Photos, puzzles and settings on your device
Your imported photos, created puzzles, game progress, favourites, settings and in-game coin records are stored in the app’s private storage on your device. When you choose a photo or take one using your camera app, we use that image to create your puzzle. The game does not upload your chosen photos or puzzle saves to our servers.
The game uses the Android system picker or an external camera app for the image you select. It does not need general access to all of your photos or contacts. There is no personal account registration or cloud save feature in the current game.
Information used to provide the game
When the game connects to our service, we create a random installation identifier and an authentication token. We use these to provide access to the puzzle catalogue and images and to protect the service against abuse. Requests also include the app version. Our hosting and delivery infrastructure processes your IP address, request time, requested resource and technical connection information to deliver content and maintain security.
This technical installation identity is separate from your local photos and game progress. Clearing app data does not automatically delete an installation record already stored on our server.
Purposes and legal grounds
We use technical installation and connection information to deliver the catalogue, authenticate requests and keep the service secure. We process purchase information to provide purchased features and support messages to respond to you.
Where European data protection law applies, the legal grounds depend on the purpose: providing requested game features and purchases where necessary to perform our agreement with you; our legitimate interests in operating a reliable and secure service and answering enquiries; and compliance with legal obligations when handling applicable legal requests. Where consent is legally required for advertising or access to information on your device, consent is the required basis. Publishing this policy or continuing to play does not by itself provide that consent.
Advertising
The game integrates Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) for banner ads and optional rewarded video ads. Google’s SDK may collect or share IP addresses, approximate location inferred from IP, device or advertising identifiers, app interactions, diagnostic information and other device information. Google uses this information to deliver and measure advertising, support analytics and prevent fraud. Test ads can still involve connections to Google.
Your Android advertising privacy settings can help you manage advertising identifiers and preferences. Availability varies by Android version. Read Google’s Privacy Policy and Google Mobile Ads data disclosures for more information about Google’s processing.
Google Play purchases
Where a version of the game offers purchases or subscriptions, Google Play handles the payment. We do not receive your full payment card details. The game receives purchase information such as the product, purchase token, status and confirmation information to recognise your entitlement and provide the purchased features. Availability may differ between test and released versions.
You can manage or cancel a subscription in Google Play. Removing the game does not cancel a subscription.
When you contact us
If you email support, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer your request, investigate problems and handle privacy requests. Please do not send passwords, payment card information or photos that are not needed for your request.
Providers and disclosure
We use hosting and content delivery providers to operate our service, including Cloudflare for network delivery and security. Google provides the advertising and purchase services described above. These providers process information needed for those functions. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or needed to investigate abuse and protect the service or the rights of others.
Providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their processing is described in their privacy information, including Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy and Google’s policy linked above.
Retention and deletion
Local photos and created puzzles can be removed through the game’s “My” → “Created” section. Clearing the app’s data in Android settings or uninstalling it removes the app’s local data. This action may permanently remove your saved games. Copies you keep outside the app are not deleted.
Technical installation records remain on our service until removed; the current service does not automatically expire them. Operational records are retained under the applicable log rotation and backup processes. Support messages are kept as needed to handle the request and any related obligations.
You can email us to request access to, correction of or deletion of information we hold. Describe the information and app involved. Because the game does not link an installation to your email address, we may need further information to locate and verify the relevant record. Never send your authentication token or password. Information held independently by Google or another provider is subject to that provider’s retention and request procedures.
Security and your choices
Connections to our game service use HTTPS, and local game files are kept in the app’s private storage. We restrict access to server data. No method of storage or transmission can guarantee absolute security.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive your information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, and raise a concern with your local data protection authority. Contact us using the email above to exercise applicable rights.
Privacy requests
Email support@codemarlab.com with the app name and a description of your request. We will ask only for information needed to identify the relevant records and verify the request, and respond within the period required by applicable law. You do not need to use a particular email subject.
You may complain to your local supervisory authority. In Spain, this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD). Where applicable, you can object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
Google provides controls for advertising and data it processes through its own services. Changing your Android advertising settings does not remove technical records held by our server or replace a request to delete them.
Children and privacy
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can investigate and handle an appropriate deletion request. Do not include unnecessary personal information about the child in your first message.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the game and its services change. The date at the top shows the latest update. Material changes will be explained through an appropriate notice. You can always find the current policy at this address.
